20 Questions about music tag

I have decided to do a music tag because well, I have been listening to some old & new stuff and it made me extremely happy. I've changed some questions as I haven't been to any live shows and the questions revolved around that but yeah, hope you like it!

20 Questions about music tag:

Which bands/artists do you have the most albums by?
You me at six, as they are my favourite band. ever. I have a few albums on my shelf then the rest in my iTunes library :)

What was the last song you listened to?
Andy Grammar - Honey I'm good

What's in your iTunes most played right now?
Demi Lovato - Cool for the summer * absolutely love this song!! & You me at six - A little bit of truth * I don't know why, but it just brings so many memories back..

What was the last show you attended?
I was meant to see Forever the sickest kids in concert when I was 18 year old, but my brother's car broke down and I couldn't make it. I was so upset :(

Who are you looking forward to seeing in concert?
Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, You me at six, Bastille & Charlie Puth.

Who would you like to see touring together?
I think it would be the highlight of my life if Bastille and You me at six toured together or Enrique Iglesias and Demi Lovato... now that would be amazing.

What's the most musically involved you have ever been?
Erm not too sure how to answer this, but back in 2009 I was battling a hard time and I turned to music and it helped me I guess?

What award show are you looking forward too?
The VMA's but I probably won't watch it because of who is hosting.. not a big fan. But the BRIT awards are my favourite too, because Ed Sheeran.

What is your favourite band shirt?
I don't have a band shirt, yet. But I have a jumper from the YMAS merchandise store. I've had it for about 3 years now? I love it :)

What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?
Damn... I can't narrow it down ! Probably Calvin Harris :P

What one musician or group do you you wish would make a comeback?
Spice girls! They were literally all I listened to and watched when I was 4 years old & their music is so cheesy ha.

What musician/band you've never seen live but always wanted to?
You me at six as everytime i was hoping to see them, I either got let down, didn't have the money (life of a student!) or I was chocka-blocked with Uni work..

Name four or more flawless albums:
You me at six - Sinners never sleep
Taylor Swift - 1989
Ed Sheehan - X
Beyonce - 4
Calvin Harris - Motion

How many music related videos/DVDs do you own?
0. :(

If you could be any musician for a day, who would it be and why?
Taylor Swift because she's gorgeous & I'd love to dance about on stage singing her music. That would be epic.

Who do you want to meet the most?
Josh Franceschi, just so I can tell him that he's handsome and that his hair is always on point.

Who was your last musical "phase" before you wisened up?
I used to listen to Meghan Trainor a lot, her music is so catchy ha.

What's your "guilty pleasure" that you hate to admit to liking?

Favourite read(s)

I decided to go home for 3 weeks over the summer period to enjoy some quality time with my family, as I spend the majority of my time away from the nest. Since being back I have got back into reading, although I never really got out of it.

However, I've been trying to read a book by one of my all time favourite author's 'Nicholas Sparks', He writes multiple love stories and wow, they leave me speechless each time. It's called "A bend in the road" and I just want to share what I think about it.

Most romance stories, tend to end the same way right? however, Nicholas Sparks has a way  of changing the stereotype that's been given to the particular genre, in fact, his writing will leave you in floods of tears or hanging for more. A quick spoiler of the book; "A bend in the road" focuses on a broken family, of sheriff Miles Ryan and his son, Jonah Ryan who lost wife/mother Missy in a hit and run accident.
As Miles works within the law enforcement he becomes obsessed with tracking down who took his wife away, until he meets his son's teacher, new love interest, Sarah.

Now, I wasn't too keen on where the story was going as I thought it was going to be cliché, but it wasn't. Far from it. I haven't got that far into it, and don't particularly want to ruin it for anyone else. After I've completely finished it, I will do a full review on the book, but for now I just wanted to share the enjoyment of my newest read.

Do read it if you have time, you won't regret it.

Swan-tastic

All above photo's taken by myself (Jade Kelly)

Summer is one of my favourite times of the year. After finishing second year of University, i decided to spend summer in Lincoln to work and be with my friends, with of course, the occasional visits back home to my family.

In June, I was with a friend walking about in the sun and we noticed that a mother swan was protecting her baby. Moments later, the cutest thing happened. It was like momma and daddy swan was teaching their baby the way of life. It made my whole day.

Priceless moments like this are worth blogging about.
Have a nice day!
